Martin Limon
For Martin Limon, joining the cannabis industry was a new and exciting opportunity. He served four and a half years in the military, followed by three years as a security supervisor and 25 years in the pawn industry. When he was presented with the opportunity to join and help build a startup company in the cannabis industry, he took it. “The idea of helping build something from the ground up, creating the processes and procedures, and building a solid, cohesive team really appealed to me,” Limon explained.
Head of Production
Martin has now been with The Grove for a year and a half as head of production, and he has been crucial in elevating the products we offer.
His role includes creating the workflow for the productions department, guiding product development, managing department expenses, setting sales projections, maintaining packaging and product inventory and keeping the department compliant with state regulations. Martin also strives to mentor, develop and provide advancement opportunities for those in his department.
“I help lead the production and sales teams by using my experience to provide guidance and support to a team of professionals that care about the company, take a great deal of pride in what they do, and care about consistently making a very good product for our dispensary customers and end-consumers,” Martin continued.
Martin also has been dedicated to creating delicious new flavors of our popular VERT cookie squares – including the latest flavors, birthday cake and blondie – adding multiple flavors to our District Gummies and multiple products to our O.penVAPE concentrate line. VERT Edibles was even voted “Best Cannabis Product” in Las Vegas for 2019 under his leadership.
Vision
In addition to his vision of creating amazing products, he also sees the cannabis industry continuing on the course to becoming mainstream. “This is a very real and viable industry with the opportunity to create business and job opportunities for so many more people,” Martin said.
