We want to assure you that The Grove is, as always, here for you. Many businesses are closing due to COVID-19, but dispensaries have switched to delivery only. We are only offering delivery from our Las Vegas and Pahrump dispensaries right now.

We’ve been experiencing a high volume of requests and are doing our best to accommodate all same-day deliveries for our wonderful customers. We thank you for your understanding as we navigate this situation.

With our customers spending so much time at home, we want to help ease some minds and offer ideas for staying entertained. We also want to make sure our customers are staying safe and healthy while they do so.

So, we’ve put together some tips for staying home and high through this pandemic.

Clean your products often and don’t share

Now is a good time to clean your bongs, pipes, vaporizers, and any other devices used to smoke or vape. Disinfect all mouthpieces and get all the germs off. Once you’ve got your products nice and clean, make a habit of wiping them down with disinfectant regularly.

And please don’t share what you’re smoking with others. We’re supposed to be social distancing right now and sharing from six feet away is not very realistic. Plus, sharing joints, bongs, pipes, vapes, or other devices is a really easy way to spread germs and potentially COVID-19.

It’s also important to wash your hands before and after rolling up a joint, loading a bowl, or doing any form of preparation.

We recommend keeping hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes on you if you like to smoke on the go. It’s not as effective as washing your hands, but it’s better than doing nothing if you’re in a pinch.

Indulge in edibles

With so much news coming at us daily, it’s easy to get stressed and burnt out. We all need a break once in a while. Many people use cannabis to destress and we’re happy that we can continue to provide it during this time.

However, considering this new coronavirus is characterized by respiratory problems, it may be a good idea to hold off on inhaling smoke or vapor right now. We aren’t doctors or anything here, but we do recognize that it is possible smoking may increase the risk of complications with the virus.

That’s why we recommend edibles! Stay in, get high, and keep your lungs healthy. We’ve got everything from chocolates and gummies to a 5 mg IPA.

Keeping busy while stoned at home

Try to view this uncertain time as an opportunity to try new things, get good at something new, or sharpen a skill. If you’re bored, try one of these options:

Make a list of movies you’ve never seen and tackle the list

Even if you’re a film connoisseur, you’re bound to have a list of movies you’ve yet to see. If you’re going to be home a lot more than usual, now’s a great time to tackle that list. Get high, get comfy, and turn on the TV!

Get creative

Even if you’ve never seen yourself as an artist, you can still make art. And if you don’t have supplies, find a pen and paper to draw with. If you have an old stack of magazines you don’t care about anymore, cut them up and make some collages.

You can also turn to writing during this time. It doesn’t matter whether it’s the next big novel, a journal entry, or a book of poems. If you have instruments at home, it’s a great time to sharpen your skills or learn how to play.

Remember, you’re stoned and at home. You don’t have to show anyone your creative projects, you just have to have fun doing them!

Spring clean

With all this time inside, you may be ready to tackle some of the tasks you’ve been too busy to take care of before now. Not everything should be done stoned, but cleaning is a great activity to go for.

Get some cannabis that makes you feel energized and get to work. You may find that a stoned spring cleaning turns into a yearly tradition.

Our final thoughts

We hope you all stay safe and healthy while we navigate this uncertain time together. Please remember we are only doing deliveries right now and our physical shops are not open to customers.

Wash your hands, keep your distance, and get high responsibly! We can do this.
