Today marks the first day of the CHAMPS Trade Show, a four-day cannabis smoke shop expo taking place at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

CHAMPS has been around for 21 years, hosting five annual events in various U.S. cities. As the premier counterculture, B2B, and wholesale trade expo, CHAMPS has been serving the smoke shop industry since 1999.

What to expect at the CHAMPS Trade Show

First of all, it’s a trade show. The event is business-to-business and not open to the public. Retail buyers, manufacturers, and distributors will be present among other members in the industry.

If you’re from a Las Vegas dispensary, you’re good to go. As of 2019, CHAMPS has a Dispensary+ section for cannabis retailers. While it’s free for attendees, you’ll need to show two forms of business identification to prove you’re in the industry.

Expect to see top players in the cannabis industry, a great deal of products, and Glass Games: a live glass blowing competition.

What else is happening at the Las Vegas Convention Center?

The CHAMPS Trade Show is a great event for members of the cannabis industry to attend but it’s not open to the public. There are plenty of other industry events coming up, and though they may not be centered around cannabis, there’s always the option to stop by a Las Vegas dispensary before or after you attend.

Of course, don’t bring any cannabis products into the convention center and remember that public consumption is illegal in Nevada. Consume responsibly.

CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2020 – March 10 – 14
