Today marks the first day of the CHAMPS Trade Show, a four-day cannabis smoke shop expo taking place at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

CHAMPS has been around for 21 years, hosting five annual events in various U.S. cities. As the premier counterculture, B2B, and wholesale trade expo, CHAMPS has been serving the smoke shop industry since 1999.

What to expect at the CHAMPS Trade Show

First of all, it’s a trade show. The event is business-to-business and not open to the public. Retail buyers, manufacturers, and distributors will be present among other members in the industry.

If you’re from a Las Vegas dispensary, you’re good to go. As of 2019, CHAMPS has a Dispensary+ section for cannabis retailers. While it’s free for attendees, you’ll need to show two forms of business identification to prove you’re in the industry.

Expect to see top players in the cannabis industry, a great deal of products, and Glass Games: a live glass blowing competition.

What else is happening at the Las Vegas Convention Center?

The CHAMPS Trade Show is a great event for members of the cannabis industry to attend but it’s not open to the public. There are plenty of other industry events coming up, and though they may not be centered around cannabis, there’s always the option to stop by a Las Vegas dispensary before or after you attend.

Of course, don’t bring any cannabis products into the convention center and remember that public consumption is illegal in Nevada. Consume responsibly.

CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2020 – March 10 – 14

If you’re into construction, it may be worth giving CONEXPO/AGG a visit. This is the largest construction trade show in North America, with representation for asphalt, aggregates, concrete, earthmoving, lifting, utilities, mining, and more.

Anyone can register for the event, starting at $195 for a general badge.

International Pizza Expo – March 30 – April 2

No, we’re not pranking you. There really is a pizza expo coming through town and it’s just a short trip from our Vegas dispensary.

Unfortunately, if you’re not in the pizza industry, you cannot attend. But hey, if you’re a restaurant owner, manager, or staff member, you can register. You can even register to attend if you’re just planning to open a pizzeria or Italian restaurant.

Nightclub and Bar Show 2020 – March 30 – April 1

With over 100 speakers and 400 suppliers, the Nightclub and Bar Show is sure to be a hit for members of the bar and restaurant industry.

This tradeshow is for industry professionals in the nightclub and bar scene, as well as those looking to get into the industry. All attendees must be 21+.

Expect a number of workshops, boot camps, and even certification programs to take place at this event.

Planning your visit to the Las Vegas Convention Center

The Las Vegas Convention Center hosts events throughout the year to showcase different industries and facilitate networking opportunities. If you’re in any of the industries represented at upcoming events, it may be worth it to register and attend.

Expos and networking events can sometimes be stressful or draining, so if you’re done for the day and looking for weed near the Las Vegas Convention Center, we’ve got you covered. Stop by The Grove and grab yourself a pick-me-up!
