Spread the Word Nevada
We invite our customers to join us in our continued effort to give back to the community. Through the month of May, The Grove will be hosting a book drive for Spread the Word Nevada.
The nonprofit organization promotes literacy to make it possible for all children in Nevada to experience the magic of books. Since 2001, they have distributed more than 5 million books to over 548,000 low-income youth in Nevada.
To participate, customers can drop off new or gently used books for all age groups at The Grove’s Las Vegas location during their next visit. As a thank you, participants that donate two or more books will receive 15% off their purchase.
Volunteers are essential in helping Spread the Word Nevada carry out their mission. For those in search of additional ways to get involved, volunteers for book preparation or for their Breakfast/Snack Time with Books are always welcome. In addition, there are opportunities to become a Books and Buddies mentor.
